- Sediakan buttermilk dulu. (1 cup milk + 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar) put aside..
- In your bowl, masukkan butter dan gula. Beat well..
- Kemudian, masukkan telur dan sambung mix. Pastu masukkan vanilla essence dan food colouring. Beat well. (Butter Mixture).
- In a seperate bowl, masukkan tepung, cocoa powder, baking powder, bicarbonate of soda dan garam. Kemudian, sift/tapis all the dry mixture into the Butter Mixture. Then masukkan the buttermilk and also the apple cider vinegar.. then beat well..
- Lepas tu, masukkan susu dan beat lagi for about 5 minutes. If you are doing it manually - hand mixer or whisk, sila pukul dalam 1 arah sahaja. kalau pakai stand Mixture is much better..
- Sediakan loyang cake.... ChikNi selalunya akan lapikkan dgn baking paper..so it wont stuck at the bottom of the pan hence senang nak keluarkan the cake. Bahagikan batter and fill it in the loyang cake..

- CARA-CARA nak coat the cake: 1. Assemble the cake dulu. Letak sikit creamcheese on the cake base so cake tak mudah gerak. Then letak satu layer cake. 2. Kemudian, letak frosting kt cake n ratakan.. kasi tebal sikit frosting tu. 3. Then letak lagi satu layer cake. 4. Repeat lagi kalau ada extra layer cake. 5. Dah siap assemble cake, ambik frosting dan cover the whole cake. Yg ni buat lapisan nipis je takyah tebal. 6. Kalau creamcheese frosting tu mcm cair/lembik, masukkan dlm fridge dulu..
